Greater Dublin Excursion
Many exciting places are located in Dublin’s surroundings. Ideal for those who do not wish to go on an entire round trip. In the north, you will find UNESCO heritage site Brú na Bóinne, one of the world’s most important prehistoric landscapes with Newgrage the oldest observatory in the world. In the south of Dublin, you will find impressive estates such as Killruddery House & Gardens or Powerscout Estate, House & Gardens which beautifully maintained gardens invite for a scenic stroll. Equally charming is Glendalough, a valley with two lakes in the Wicklow Mountains. Its monastic settlement from the 6th century is one of the most famous on the island. You do not need to go far to experience diversity.
