Colchagua
ON THE WAY TO THE BEST VINEYARDS IN CHILI
At a two-hour drive from Santiago, we strongly recommend you to spend some time visiting the wineries of the Colchagua Valley, one of the main quality wine producing valleys in Chile. With an oenology guide, discover the history of the vineyards, the first of which were planted during the colonial era in the 16th century. During your visit, you’ll have the opportunity to taste the best vintages in this beautiful setting. You will be able to discover from up close the Chilean know-how and their conception of wine production and marketing.

In the heart of the valley, we recommend you to pass through the small town of Santa Cruz, which keeps its cultural and gastronomic traditions alive. You might also get the opportunity to take part in the grape harvest festival, starting at the beginning of March, and to visit the many wine cellars open during this event.
If you wish, you can also visit the Colchagua Museum, which highlights the history of humanity on Earth, in Chile and more precisely in the central and rural area. His wealth and talents are exhibited there as a true homage to the peasants and landowners who forged the nation at the "end of the world".
