This shows the variety of landscapes promised to be discovered in each of its 47 prefectures.
 

Japan attracts, because it is both reassuring and exotic. It mixes Western codes and Japanese art of living, urban effervescence and inner calm, ultra-modernity and tradition, apparent rigor and openness.

We know the cultural richness of Japan, we imagine it less as a nature destination. And yet, if you go off the beaten track, the country has something to surprise you.
