Surrounded by the savanna and forests, Kilimanjaro is a snow-capped wonderland, with some of the most impressive grass and tree species, such as the Baobab.

The surrounding forests, such as the Dry Forest or Njoro Forest, are sometimes sacred places of mystery.

 

Mount Kilimanjaro, or the "roof of Africa," stands proudly on Kenya's southern border. It is a true paradise for hikers and trekkers as it is the highest peak in the world accessible on foot (5896m).

Experienced hikers can make ascents that last several days. Of course, the visit does not lose its beauty even if you do not reach the summit.
